My Future Clarity

Science & Engineering

Do you like maths and physics? Would you like to solve real-life problems using science and technology.? If yes should become an engineer.

Engineering is the application of mathematics and science used to solve real-life problems. Engineers develop new technologies, structures. Products, techniques to make others lives more comfortable.

Have you ever thought,

  • How our home appliances like TV, Freeze work?
  • How do we get electricity to our home?
  • How mobile phones and laptop work?

An engineer is a person behind all this.

There are different branches of engineering available like mechanical engineering, civil engineering, automobile engineering, electrical engineering and many more.

What are the roles and responsibilities for Engineer?

  • Prepare project specifications and blueprints to establish procedures and objectives.
  • Design and execute engineering experiments to create workable solutions
  • Develop engineering calculations, diagrams and technical reports.
  • Analyze test results in relation to design and test objectives, and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
  • Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods.
  • Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly and testing.
  • Set up a prototype and test apparatus and operate test controlling equipment to observe and record prototype test results.

Note: Role and responsibilities are different for various engineering branches. Use the Engineering branch selector to identify the most suitable engineering branch for you.
